I kept the sketch in its original A2 size. My color combination was Real Red, Old Olive, and Night of Navy. I used the set "Eastern Blooms" along with my Craft Spots to emboss the blooms with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. I used several different pattern papers: the green was from the Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper pack, the red was from the Ski Slope Designer Series Paper pack, and the blue was from the Urban Garden Designer Series Paper pack. The green patterned paper was stamped in Old Olive Classic Ink with the flower burst stamp from the set, and the corners were embellished with Silver Brads. The sentiment was from the set "Short & Sweet", and was stamped in VersaMark Ink to be embossed with Navy Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. The red paper was pierced around all four edges using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, then Silver Brads were also added to it. The Whisper White Cardstock on the card base was also paper pierced. A piece of 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon was added to complete the card.
This is another creation by my sweet friend (and constant fan...LOL), Pam Varnell. You can check out her blog and post at The Stamping Addict. She made the layout into a square card, but the proportions were still spot-on! Thanks again for another wonderfully fun card, Pam!
That's it for today! I have alot to do over the next couple of days, but I still hope to have plenty to share with you all. Until later...
