...I Love Pumpkin Pie !

This is one of the many cards I have made lately that incorporate Pumpkin Pie somewhere in the design. I have combined Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, and Old Olive to create this card that I have used as my September birthday cards. The designer paper is from the Holiday Treasures Designer Series Paper pack, and it goes so great with these fall colors. I used the flower from "Heartfelt Thanks", and colored directly onto the stamp using both a Pumpkin Pie Marvelous Marker and an Old Olive Marvelous Marker. The image was stamped three consecutive times without re-inking to create more faint flowers in the foreground. The sentiment is also from Heartfelt Thanks, and it is stamped in Ruby Red Classic Ink across the focal panel. The "Paisley" background stamp was used on the card base in Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink to add some texture to the backdrop. Some Pumpkin Pie 5/8" Striped Ribbon finishes it off.

That's it for today! I have ALOT of housework to get finished before I pick Christian up for a doctor's appointment at 12:30. Hopefully it will go quickly and I can get him back to school. They (Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School's Football Team) have an away game at Alatoona High School about an hour-and-a-half from here tonight. So I also have to gas up the truck, get some extra money out of the bank, and get ready for a long ride...fun, fun, fun! Thanks for stopping by this wonderful Friday, and I will see you all tomorrow...I hope to work on something for SCS's Inspiration Challenge {fingers crossed}! Until then...

This is still one of my favorite stamp sets, but you hardly see people use it anymore! Love the card and that color combo is great!!!
