The focal image is from the set "A Little Birdie Told Me", and was stamped onto two seperate pieces of Watercolor Paper in Jet Black Staz-On Ink. One image was watercolored using Stampin' Write Markers and Aquapainters, then cut out using CutterBee Scissors. It was then layered on top of the other bird using Dimensionals. The grass was created using markers and aquapainters also.
The sentiment is from the set "Absolutely Fabulous", and it was stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for placement. The card is finished by adding a couple of rows of paper piercing using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer again.
Feel free to use whatever shape you like for your focal image. The sketch shows a circle, but you can use a square, a rectangle, or an oval....it's your choice. There will be other sketches, however, that will require the use of a certain shape later on. The sketch was originally made for a square card, but I used it for an invitation-sized one. The size of the card is up to you....just try to keep the fundamentals the same.
***Don't forget to use the keywords MTSC03 when uploading your creations into a public gallery...also include a link in your description to the original sketch here at my blog. That's it for now, but I hope you enjoy this sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Until later.....Hugs ~ Mercy
