Ms. Melissa (aka mwohlers or Sweetie) is our featured stamper today at SCS. I wanted to do a card that was inspired by hers seen HERE. You go, girl! You ROCK!! Take a few minutes and check out her blog. So this is my version...no designer paper, and not as bright. I used Bodacious Bouquet, as did she, but I used background stamps to make my "designer" paper. These stamps include: Print Pattern, Linen, and French Script. Each layer is sponged to give it a little antique spin. My colors are more muted and earthy. I loved Cranberry Crisp from last year's In-Color line! I used it with Night of Navy and So Saffron. The flower is stamped in saffron, then *rock and rolled* with cranberry. The two flowers were attached using a brad, then dimensionals hold them to the square punched base. It needed a little something when I first put it together, so I decided to add the twill at the last minute. I actually like the look the frayed edges gives it!
That's it for now! Hugs ~ Mercy
