...Madame's Butterflies

Sunday was "Featured Stamper" day. We had the privilege to look at Ana Wohlfahrt's artwork and try copy her style. This is my card inspired by her creation seen HERE. Mine isn't nearly as beautiful as hers, but I gave it a shot! (The background in the picture is blue, but the card base is green). I used the following stamp sets: Bold Butterfly, Warm Words, Tagger's Dozen, and Beyond the Basics. I chose the colors Gable Green, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, and vellum. Each butterfly was embossed and cut out. I applied glitter in different designs for each one. This card was so much fun to make...it took forever, but it was a blast! Congratulations, Ana, on your success and recognition! YOU ROCK, GIRLY!

Monday brings with it a number of things: dirty laundry, dirty bathrooms (DOH!), and a new technique challenge. I'm most excited about the technique challenge...DUH, right? I will, hopefully, have a cute little card to post for you later today (or tomorrow). See you all in a little while!

Hugs ~ Mercy
