...Crazy 4 Pockets (C4C37)

Happy Saturday! It's time to get "crazy" again with the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog, and Frances Byrne is issuing this week's wonderful challenge....A Pocket Card (Any Kind)!  I used The Stamping Boutique's "The Magic of Pretend", and colored the image with Copics Sketch Markers.  I paired the image with some patterned papers from the Pretty Please collection by My Mind's Eye.  Believe it or not...I actually used a technique called Cracked Glass on the focal panel!  I was so worried about the Copic Ink reacting badly doing the technique...but it turned out beautifully!  It kind of looks antiqued...I LOVE IT!  I created a simple pocket on the inside by stitching some leftover patterned paper directly to the card base.  Since the little girl is having a tea party in the image, I figured this would make a special tea party invitation.  What do you think?  After adding some Stitching, a Border Punch, Brads, and some Paper Piercing the card was completed.

Let's see what the rest of the Crazies have created with this week's sketch:
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by to see me, and now it's your turn to create a card or project that incorporates the A Pocket Of Any Kind to share it with us. Be sure to add your creation to Mister Linky back at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog post...we can't wait to see what you come up with! See you back here tomorrow with a card using images from My Favorite Things! Until then...
