...Crazy 4 Stampbook Saturday (C4C28, TSGSS)

Happy Saturday! It's gonna be a Double Duty post today, so be sure to check it all out! First of all, it's time to get "crazy" again with the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Barbara Anders has issued some awesome challenges for all of us to play along with this month. For this week you're asked to create a MASCULINE card or project. I used the large car image from the
There She Goes' set called "ROFL Taglines", stamped it in black, and colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. The sentiment was also from a TSG set called "Loads of Fun", and was stamped in black above the image. I paired the image with some patterned papers from October Afternoon's Road Trip 8X8 Paper Pad. Some stitching, a border punch, and silver brads were used as embellishments to complete the card.
Before we move on to the next project, let's see what the rest of the design team have created for you to drool over:
I also created a 6X6 scrapbook page for today's Stampbook Saturday post at the There She Goes Blog (which posts at 3:00 am EST). I used the C4C28 card as the inspiration for this layout, and used the smaller car image from the same "ROFL Taglines" set.
I captured a funny moment with my youngest son, Gabriel, as he was in the process of whitening his teeth. I had been staring at him (trying to figure out why he looked different) when he turned to me, and simply stated, "Well, I have to look good for the ladies when I'm driving!" Then it dawned on me...he'll be getting his learners' license next year, so I'd better treasure fourteen while I could! LOL! Isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen?!? Watch out girls! :)

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you back here tomorrow! I plan on spending the next couple of days stamping and coloring in an attempt to get WAY ahead with my blog posts, previews, and DT requirements...that's the plan anyways! LOL! Until later...

What a fabulous boy card and matching scrapbook page. My oldest son is 12 and I'm so not ready for the driving to start in a few years. You'll have to let me know how it goes with your son. :)
