This is my submission for Friday's Viva la Verve Sketch With a Twist Week #5 Challenge in the Verve Forum at SCS. The sketches are designed by Amber Hight each week...she is a genius!The twist of this week's sketch was to add texture...whatever we thought added texture to our card. I added sponging to the focal panel, then also added Clear Rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes. I also used two contrasting pieces of patterned paper from the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper pack to add more dimension. The snowflakes were from the Verve set "Winter Wonder", while the sentiment was from "Ornamental Christmas". The Soft Suede Dotted Grosgrain Ribbon also gives this creation a bit of texture. I am a non-traditional-Christmas-colors kind of girl, and I love how this turned out using Soft Suede and Sahara Sand...monochromatic colors at their best! :)That's it for today!
