This is my very first submission for Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch #26. I have been a long-time fan of hers, but I have never gotten around to playing with one of her sketches until now. I started with an Old Olive Cardstock base, then matted the Good Morning Sunshine Designer Series Papers with Chocolate Chip Cardstock. I used Classic Circle Nestabilities along with my Big Shot the create the "faux flower" circles from olive and Summer Sun Cardstock. The butterfly was from the upcoming stamp set "Great Friend". They were stamped in Pacific Point Classic Ink, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. Each was cut out and popped up off of the circles using Dimensionals. The sentiment (from the same set) was stamped in Pacific Point Classic Ink using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for placement. A piece of 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon was tied around the panel to complete the card. That's it for today! I will be back tomorrow with another one of my sketches for the Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge #6. Be sure to come by and check out my sample, then hop on over to the SAS Blog to participate in the challenge! Until then... Supplies Stamps: Great Friend
Papers: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Summer Sun, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Inks: Pacific Point Classic Ink
Accessories: clear embossing powder, heat gun, scissors, nesties, big shot, ribbon, dimensionals
