This was my submission for today's Sketch Challenge #214 at SCS. I started with a Pumpkin Pie Cardstock base, then layered it with a combination of Whisper White Cardstock and Riding Hood Red Cardstock. The edges were pierced using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. All of the patterned papers are from the Washington Apple Designer Series Paper pack. The floral one was matted with Pumpkin Pie Cardstock {as was the focal panel}, and the striped one was matted with Riding Hood Red Cardstock. The edges of the striped piece were also pierced. The sentiment and butterfly were both from the set "Simple Friendship". The butterfly was stamped in Riding Hood Red Classic Ink, and the sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink. I added a piece of Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, then some Silver Brads. I matted the brads with pumpkin and riding hood cardstock that had been punched out using the 1/4" Circle Punch and the 1/2" Circle Punch.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, but I have to get busy making the last of three projects for my February clubs...did I mention that my first club is tomorrow night?!? LOL! I haven't cut out all of the supplies for the other two projects either...what is wrong with me? Anywho...I am off to get some work done! See you tomorrow with a Remake Thursday card. Until then...

Just gorgeous! Good luck with the prep work. ~chris
Fabulous card, Marcy! Love the colours and the way you did the brads. Great job.
LOVE this! I like the double circles behind the brads. I love your style and can't wait to see what is coming up!
This is gorgeous. I love the colours you used. The white makes everything pop!
Gorgeous!! LOVE this color combo!!
WOW! I totally LURVE this Mercy!!!
Wow Mercy, this card is so stunning but I have to say this picture does not do it justice at all. So much prettier IRL. The way you stamped the butterfly twice, cut in out, and double mounted them both on top of each, WOW!! Amazing as usual. And, great job with the sketch.
Mercy, this is gorgeous! Your layers are amazing- so vibrant! I saw this sketch and it didn't do anything for me so I didn't even try. My loss! Maybe I'll go do it now.
So beautiful! I love the colors! Butterfly is so gentle!
