- This is my sample for my Tuesday Sketch Challenge #31 seen in the post BELOW. I started with an Old Olive Cardstock base, then matted each additional layer with Chocolate Chip Cardstock. The top background panel was a piece of Close to Cocoa Cardstock that had been embossed using the Big Shot and the Harlequin Texture Plate from SU! The striped pattern paper was from the Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper pack, then a piece of chocolate cardstock was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch. A piece of 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon was added across the background panel.
- The sentiment/focal panel consisted of Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Old Olive Cardstock, and Whisper White Cardstock. The sentiment was from Verve Visual's "Philippians 4:13" Plain Jane series. It was stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. The flowers were from "Feeling Groovy" {also Verve}, and they were stamped and embossed on Watercolor Paper in the same manner as the sentiment. I colored the flowers using an Aquapainter and the Summer Sun Classic Ink Pad and refill. The blooms were cut out and attached to the panel using Dimensionals. The edges of the focal panel and the striped paper were pierced using the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer.
- That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and being patient with me! I have had the blues lately, so I haven't really been in the mood to stamp...but I had no choice since it was sketch time again. It actually felt really good to get back in the craft area and get something done, though. I have my last club of the month tonight, so I hope to have some free stamping time tomorrow, too.
