...MTSC30 Sample

View the MTSC30 Sketch HERE
So what do you think of my sketch sample? It isn't really my normal style of card, but I think it turned out pretty durn good! LOL! I started with a Baja Breeze Carousel Note as a card base, then matted the additional layers with Chocolate Chip Cardstock and/or Kraft Cardstock. The patterned papers were all from the Parisian Breeze Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. I cut all of the circles out using my new Circle Scissors Plus. I am not quite sure if I am a fan yet or not...it is definitely going to take some getting used to! Once I get it down I will be posting a tutorial. The background on the focal panel was created by using the "Friendly Words" roller in Sahara Sand Classic Ink on a piece of Whisper White Textured Cardstock. The birds and round sentiment were from the set "Friends 24-7", and were stamped in Baja Breeze Classic Ink and Sahara Sand Classic Ink. The birds were cut out and popped off of the panel using Dimensionals. The sentiment circle was created using the following: 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, and the Circle Scissors Plus {I used it to make the 1-1/2" circle}. I used the Horizontal Slot Punch to create a hole in the side of the focal panel, then attached a piece of Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon and Kraft Taffeta Ribbon. The ribbons were then tied off with a piece of Natural Hemp. Several Baby Blue Kaiser Rhinestones were added to the focal and sentiment panel to finish off the card.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all again tomorrow. I am home taking care of Gabe again today...he has the flu. I will be finishing up several challenges while he sleeps...hopefully! Until later...
