I have spotlighted again in Nancy Riley's iPicks again this week with THIS card AND THIS card. Yep...two! I thought I was going to pass out when my email reader pulled up her blog update on my screen, and it displayed my name with two cards beside it. What an honor! I still can't believe she picked me!
And last, but certainly not least, I won Julee Tilman's Mojo Madness {Sketch #68} Contest over at the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog! Once again my email was the bearer of this wonderful surprise. I would have screamed if I could have worked up enough energy! LOL! I didn't think that I had a chance in the world of winning the challenge/contest. I had seen several of the entries after I had uploaded mine, and there were too many wonderful ones to compete with. So I was just going to be happy with the knowledge that I had completed the challenge before the week had expired. :)
So...even though I feel horrible physically, I am soaring above the clouds mentally this morning! Thanks Julee and Nancy for making an old girl giddy! Well, I am too pooped to party any longer, so I am headed to bed. Until later...

Oh, poor Mercy, I hope you get well really FAST! My 30 year old son had strep before Xmas, and he said he has NEVER had anything so painful in his life! It must be some new HORRID strep, because he was really suffering. And of course he's had strep before~~but not like this! I surely hope you feel better soon, you take care and make your family serve you with whatever you need!!! :D Oh, I almost forgot: CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is truly awesome!!!!

Oy girl...so sorry about the strep. I had it one year for almost 3 months straight and they almost had to put me in the hospital. So...sheesh I can relate with your analogy :( Praying for a speedy healing and that those antibiotics do their work!

Glad you at least know WHAT has been causing you to feel so yucky. Meds should kick in shortly and you'll be feeling a lot better soon. Make sure you get your rest (said in my best "mom" voice LOL) so you can be back up and running shortly. No pressure to post, we'll be here when you have energy to create again :)
Oh no Merci! The worst case in years??? That is awful! I was pretty sick myself around Christmas and I lost my voice for 2 1/2 days!! I never do that!!! I hope your feeling much better very soon and congratulations on the honors you have received!! You DEFINATLY deserve it!!! Your work is beautiful and very inspiring to me!! Get better real soon....my prayers to you for a fast recovery!!
