...Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #20 (MTSC20)

This was my sample for this week's sketch challenge. I started with a Kraft Cardstock base that was stippled with Not Quite Navy Classic Ink and a Stipple Brush. Each layer was matted with Chocolate Chip Cardstock, then popped up off of the card base using Dimensionals. The patterned paper on the bottom layer was from last year's Prints Pack. The center panel was Bashful Blue Cardstock that was stamped in Not Quite Navy Classic Ink with the "Canvas" background stamp. Silver Brads were added to the corners of each of the lower layers. The focal panel was Whisper White Cardstock that had been stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink with the bird from "To You & Yours", then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. I did the exact same thing to another piece of white cardstock, but I cut out the bird with CutterBee Scissors. The first panel was then stippled with a Stipple Brush and the following: Bashful Blue Classic Ink, Ballet Blue Classic Ink, and Not Quite Navy Classic Ink. I used a Facial Tissue to whip the image off, then outlined the swirls with a White Signo Uniball Gel Pen (this pen is the best white gel pen available!). The bird that was cut out was then popped up on top of the original using Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Not Quite Navy Craft Ink, and was then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for proper placement of the words. A piece of Kraft Taffeta Ribbon was added around the layers to finish off the card.

Love all the cards. I like your card on the Kraft CS, especially the way you layered it.
