Now on to the card! I have to start out by saying that I have debated for several catalogs about purchasing this set or not. I didn't think that I would like it or use it very much...I was wrong! My sweet friend, Janet Beahm, brought hers along with on our stamping weekend. This was the first card that I made using "Punch Pals", and I fell in love with it...the penguin is just too cute! I also stamped off several onto a large sheet of watercolor paper to use later...Thanks, Janet! I used an Old Olive Cardstock base, and built the layers up using Chocolate Chip Cardstock and Ski Slope Designer Series Papers. The focal panel was Whisper White Cardstock, and the sentiment circle was created using the following papers: Real Red Cardstock, Old Olive Cardstock, and Baja Breeze Cardstock. The penguin and presents were stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink onto Watercolor Paper, then watercolored using an Aquapainter and Classic Ink Pads. They were cut out and popped up off of the panel using Dimensionals, as was each circle that made up the sentiment panel. Several Antique Brass Brads were also added to the panels to finish off this fun Christmas card.
That's it for today! I have bills to pay and shopping to do tomorrow, so I'm hoping that I won't run into any more "holiday cheer"! LOL! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all later. Until then...

This one is my favorite that you did with the Punch Pal set. The color combo on this one is gorgeous and your watercoloring on the penguin and presents is just beautiful. I love to watch you in action. That laugh you get when you know you got the card nailed. You're too funny!!
So cute, Mercy!! Great colors!!! (And I hope you waved as you passed the pulled over car! Bwahahahaa! Gotta love it!)
I just love this card, Mercy, especially the layout and those photo corners. Every detail adds up to a beautiful result. I have held out against this set, but you may have changed my mind!
This is so adorable!! I love the colors and how you used the DSP! It's so nice to see "those" drivers get what's coming to them...LOL I did not venture out today until dinner time. There was almost no traffic and our brand new Target was deserted!! Totally NOT what I was expecting.
Fabulous!
