...Dirty Dares & Cards From Stamping Weekend

These cards were made at my stamping weekend a couple of weeks ago with Pam Varnell (aka stampingpam) and Janet Beahm (aka harley7312). We met at Janet's house and stamped the day away! I just love getting together with these crazy women....talk about a good time! I forgot to upload these photos, because I was busy showing cards that were made for so many challenges. So here they are:
This first one is my submission for both Taylor VanBruggen's Cupcake Dirty Dare (DTGD08Taylor), and Laura Frederickson's Distressing Dirty Dare (DTDG08Laura) at SCS. I used the large cupcake stamp from Inkadinkado's "Birthday Cupcake" set. It was watercolored using an Aquapainter and Stampin' Write Markers (Real Red and Close to Cocoa). A little bit of Crystal Stickles were added over the sprinkles to give them some sparkle. My color combo for this one was Kraft, Basic Black, Real Red, and Whisper White. I also used some Real Red Designer Series Paper from the Prints Pack. The edges of the focal image were "roughed up" using Heidi Swapp's Distressing Tool. Black Brads and a piece of 5/8" Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon finishes it off.

This is my submission for Amy Rohl's Clearly Size Matters Dirty Dare (DTGD08Amy) at SCS.I used Verve Visual's "Thankful Blossoms" to create these gorgeous butterflies in Wild Wasabi Classic Ink, Lovely Lilac Classic Ink, and Pink Passion Classic Ink. Love, love, love this card!

This 3X3 beauty was created by watercoloring the flower from "Dreams du Jour" with an Aquapainter and Classic Ink Pads (Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Old Olive). The designer paper was a gift from Janet. She had found it on sale at her favorite scrapbook store, so she grabbed a piece for both Pam and me.....how sweet is she?!? The scalloped edge was created using Stampin' Up's new Scallop Edge Punch.
Gotta love Verve! This one is my submission for Michelle Woerner's Masculine Dirty Dare (DTGD08Michelle) at SCS. I used their sets "Great Expectations" (the sentiment) and "Polka Stars" to create this masculine wonder. The colors include Ruby Red, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, and River Rock. I also used Western Sky Designer Series Paper and a button from Stampin' Up's Button Bouquet.
Another Verve creation! This last one was made with "Petals & Stems" and "All About You" (the sentiment). The color scheme for this one was Always Artichoke, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, and Whisper White. The centers of the flowers were made using Stampin' Up's Build-a-Brads.

So what do you think? I think I got alot accomplished for one day, don't you? Thanks again to Janet and Pam for all of their inspiration, encouragement, and collaboration....we make a pretty great team! LOL! I can't wait to stamp again with you wonderful ladies! That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you again tomorrow. Until then...
