...A Couple of Dirty Dare '08 Cards

This is my submission for Laurie's (Lauraly at SCS) challenge from Monday (DTGD08Laurie: Got Vellum?). I had actually made this card a couple of weekends ago when I got another opportunity to stamp with Janet and Pam (stampingpam at SCS).....thanks for the wonderful time, ladies! I will be posting the rest of my stampin' weekend creations later this week.

I used vellum to create the round focal panel and the scalloped edge on the bottom. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up set "All Holidays", and the small medallions around the bottom of the focal panel are from Verve Visual's stamp set "Thoughtful Florals". I also used Chocolate Chip Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, and Brocade Backgrounds Designer Series Paper. Some Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon completes to card.

This is my submission for Christine's (ChristineCreations at SCS) challenge from yesterday (DTGD08Christine: Watercolor Wows). I used the following new In Colors for the card layers: Pacific Point Cardstock, Kiwi Kiss Cardstock, and Red Riding Hood Cardstock. I also used the new "Sock Monkey" stamp from SU. I watercolored this adorable primate using a Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker and Aquapainter, then watercolored the balloons using the following ink pads and an Aquapainter: Pacific Point Classic Ink Pad, Kiwi Kiss Classic Ink Pad, and Red Riding Hood Classic Ink Pad. You will definitely be seeing this layout again for one of my upcoming Tuesday Sketch Challenges...I loved it!

That is for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all again tomorrow. Until then...
