...Sketch Challenge #178 & Bloomin' Beautiful Card

This is my submission for today's Sketch Challenge at SCS. The cardstock colors used were: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Pumpkin Pie. I used the star stamp sets "Seeing Stars", "Swirly Stars", and Polka Stars" from Verve Visual. The stars were stamped, cut out, and popped up off of the sentiment panel with Dimensionals.

This card was made using the "Bloomin' Beautiful" set from Stampin' Up! The cardstock colors include Rose Red, Not Quite Navy, Rose Red Designer Series Paper (DSP), and Watercolor Paper. The card base was stamped in Rose Red Classic Ink with the definition block from the set, and the sentiment was stamped with Jet Black Staz-On Ink onto the dsp. The flower pot was stamped with the same black ink onto the watercolor paper, colored with Stampin' Write Markers (Rose Red, Taken With Teal, and Always Artichoke), the watercolored with an Aquapainter. Once the image was completely dry, Crystal Effects were added to the blossoms only and allowed to dry. A piece of 5/8" Dark Teal Grosgrain Ribbon was wrapped around the card base and secured with a buckle from the Aged Copper Hodgepodge Hardware collection.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all again tomorrow! Until then....
