...Color Challenge #168 and More Pun Fun

This is my submission for today's Color Challenge at SCS: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla. The card base is Chocolate Chip Cardstock (11 X 4-1/4), and the next panel up is Very Vanilla Cardstock that was stamped in Sage Shadow Classic Ink with the leaf image from "Carte Postale". The sentiment was a Michael's $1 stamp, and it was stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. The long focal panel was Sage Shadow Cardstock (4-7/8 X 1-5/8). The 1-3/8" Square Punch was used to punch out three chocolate squares, then the 1-1/4" Square Punch was used to punch out three sage squares. The 1-3/8" Circle Punch was used to make three vanilla circles. To create the sage circles the flower medallion from "Carte Postale" was stamped onto sage cardstock with VersaMark Ink, then embossed with Aged Copper Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. The flowers were then punched out using the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. The completed layers were attached to each other using SNAIL Adhesive, and the focal panel was attached to the card base using Dimensionals.

I made this card after falling in love with the whale image from this set...and it is official ~ I LOVE PUN FUN! I started with a card base of Bashful Blue Cardstock (11 X 4-1/4). The long vertical panel was made of Green Galore Cardstock (4-1/2 X 2-1/4) and Whisper White Cardstock (4-3/8 X 2-1/8). The white was stamped with "Print Pattern" after it had been colored with the Green Galore Stampin' Write Marker and a Pink Passion Stampin' Write Marker. The focal panel was stamped with the sweet little hippo from "Pun Fun" in Jet Black Staz-On Ink onto Watercolor Paper (2-5/8 X 2-1/8). A Bashful Blue Stampin' Write Marker was used to color the image, then an Aquapainter was used to blend it in. The balloon and bow were colored and watercolored with a Pink Passion Stampin' Write Marker and Aquapainter. I added a shadow around the image with an Aquapainter and the Going Gray Classic Ink Pad. Once the image was completely dry it was matted onto Pink Passion Cardstock (2-3/4 X 2-1/4) and Green Galore Cardstock (2-7/8 X 2-1/2). Three Bright Pink Brads were added to the top left corner of the plaid panel, and the layers were affixed to the card base using SNAIL Adhesive and Dimensionals.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you tomorrow with a creation for the Sketch Challenge! Until then....
