...April's Class Projects ~ Vivacious Vellum

It feels so great to be back to making cards and blogging! I didn't realize how much of a stress reliever it was until I couldn't do it for several days. The cards featured today are for my April Stampin' Class entitled "Vivacious Vellum". I will not be going into great detail with each one, but I will list the supplies needed to create them.....Enjoy!

This first one is a CASE of Beate's gorgeous card seen HERE. I changed the butterfly in order to demonstrate the ease of wet-embossing on vellum...and here are the supplies:
Stamps: Kind Thoughts, Touch of Nature, Stitched
Papers: Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Vellum
Inks: Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, River Rock Classic Ink, VersaMark
Accessories: 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Embossing Buddy, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Stampin' Write Markers (Real Red and Pumpkin Pie), Mat Pack, Paper Piercer, Red Brads, Scallop Circle Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, 3/16" Corner Rounder, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, 1-1/4 Circle Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, Adhesive

This card uses the De-Bossing Vellum Technique by Linda Black seen HERE. I used this technique earlier for this Technique Lovers' card on March 5th. Here are the supplies for this one:

Stamps: Time For You

Papers: Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Vellum

Inks: Jet Black Staz-On, Real Red Classic Ink

Accessories: Wax Paper, Embossing Stylus, Mouse Pad, Mat Pack, Pencil, Crop-a-Dile, Antique Brass Jumbo Brads, Stampin' Write Markers (Ruby Red, Close To Cocoa), Scissors, Facial Tissue, Adhesive

And this last card utilizes vellum as an overlay but the sentiment is stamped on top of the vellum in black. The card sketch is one of my own that I designed, and I will post it on Tuesday as part of my new weekly sketch challenge in which you are all invited to participate! But for today, here's the supply list for my Mother's Day card:

Stamps: Live Your Dreams, All Holidays, Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Papers: Soft Sky, Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper, Groovy Guava, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Vellum

Inks: Groovy Guava Classic Ink, Wild Wasabi Classic Ink, Soft Sky Classic Ink, Close To Cocoa Classic Ink, Jet Black Staz-On Ink

Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Silver Brads, Mat Pack, Pencil, 1-16" Handheld Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals, Adhesive

Well that's all for today, but I will see you back here tomorrow with a Featured Stamper card and a Technique Lovers card. Until then.....Hugs ~ Mercy

I'm so glad you're back. While you were gone, I visited you blog every day and said a little prayer for you. I can't imagine what you are going through but I am so glad that you know to look to God. Take care and keep stamping. It really is an awesome form of therapy.
