It is soooo good to be back!!!! This is my submission for today's Color Challenge at SCS: Yoyo Yellow, Going Gray, and Basic Gray. I started with Basic Gray cardstock as the card base, and stamped the flowers and sentiment from the set "Together Forever" in Basic Gray Classic Ink. Yellow Silk Ribbon was added to the top of the stamped images on the card base. The focal panel was made up of Yoyo Yellow cardstock (3-1/2" X 2-1/2"), Going Gray cardstock (3-3/8" X 2-3/8"), and Whisper White cardstock (3-1/4" X 2-1/4"). The medallion from "Together Forever" was stamped in the center of the white panel using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet in Going Gray Classic Ink. The edges of the white is also pierced with a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, then a Going Gray Marker was used to add faux stitching. Each layer of the panels are attached to each other using SNAIL Adhesive, then was mounted to the card base with Dimensionals. The heart is from the set "Always", and it was stamped onto Basic Gray cardstock in VersaMark Ink. The heart was embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun, and then cut out using CutterBee Scissors. The cut-out heart was mounted into the center of the medallion on the focal panel using Dimensionals again.
I told you that I was loving simple cards lately....and how simple could this card be?! That's it for today! Join me tomorrow for the SCS Sketch Challenge. I always love the sketches that Roxie showcases...she is a genius! Until tomorrow...Hugs ~ Mercy
