...WT132, LSC134, SC122 (Go, Me!)

I have been a busy little beaver trying to catch up on all of my challenges. It was just a matter of time before I would be able to tackle three at once! I feel like a big dawg now! This card is a combination of three challenges: a Ways to Use It (#132) challenge, a Limited Supplies (#134) challenge, and a Card Sketch (#122) challenge. The WT132 challenge was to make a card using charcoal gray. I found the gray I needed in my pack of BasicGrey Scarlet's Letter designer paper. The designer paper is used on the back panel twice...the floral and the solid mat. The LSC134 challenge was to use a limited amount of layers (3 or 4). I used four...the card base, the two back panels, and the focal panel. I found the sketch in order to get an idea of how to layout the card, and I have to say that I love this sketch! The card actually measures 5-1/2 X 5-1/2... so I tweaked the sketch to make it a square card, but the fundamentals of the sketch are still intact. The front panel is stamped using Garden Silhouettes and Stem Silhouettes. The white stems in the foreground are stamped in VersaMark and embossed in white. The longer stems in the back are stamped with VersaMark also, but they are embossed in silver. The ticket corner punch was used on the corners of the focal image, then I used my VersaMarker to emboss the edges in silver, too. I added some black brads, and a bit of piercing to give the card a little more depth. I haven't always been a fan of white cards, but lately I have come to enjoy their simplicity and crispness. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

That's all for now...I have a master bathroom that is screaming for attention, so I'd better go give it some TLC! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all tomorrow!

Hugs ~ Mercy

I am loving the black, white and silver. I never would have considered those colors with those stamps but it is VERY nice.
