...Simple Isn't Boring!

I have had many people ask me to make some very extravagant cards, but I enjoy making more simple yet elegant ones. I wanted to show everyone how clean and simple designs can add certain *WOW* factors to any card. This first card is a Whisper White base with Baroque Motifs stamped in Basic Black and Real Red. I wanted it to look more like stationery than a card, so I didn't add any additional layers. I also stamped the flourish off to one side instead of filling the center of the card with it. Then I only used three (3) flowers...I have read somewhere that odd numbers are more appealing to the eye, so I try to stick to that rule with every card. ODD IS GOOD! Now my parents can be proud! LOL!

I have to say, however, that this is my favorite! I used Very Vanilla for this card base, and Carte Postale for the other elements. The flourish (in the center as the background) and the sentiment are stamped in Night of Navy. The medallion in the center is stamped with VersaMark onto Night of Navy cardstock, and is then embossed in silver. I used a square punch to punch it out, and it is popped up using dimensionals. The sides of the card are sponged with navy also to finish it off.
