...Color Challenge #129, Sketch Challenge #90

I have another double challenge card this morning to share with you. The color challenge was to use Pretty in Pink, Purely Pomegranate, and Old Olive...so I came up with this! The card base is Pretty in Pink stamped with French Script in pomegranate, and the base is also sponged with pomegranate. The focal image is stamped using Garden Silhouettes in pomegranate and pink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, and the sentiment is stamped in olive (which is also used to sponge the edges). I used the "cracked glass" technique on the focal image, then mounted it onto pomegranate and pink cardstock. This whole focal panel is then placed onto an olive and pomegranate panel that was stamped in olive using Print Pattern. I added a small strip of pomegranate to the bottom, then tied some pink organdy ribbon around it to add some extra texture. I have to say that Purely Pomegranate is my favorite new in-color! It is so bright and cheerful, but it can also be very soothing and elegant.

I also have a Warrior football picture to share today, too! Can I just tell you how proud I am of my oldest son, Christian? He is one power-house player! Here he can be seen (in red) taking on three...count them...three Ringgold Tigers! You go, boy! We may have lost the game that Thursday, but we looked mighty good in the process...our uniforms are TOUGH!

Well, that's all I have for today, but I will see you all tomorrow with some more goodies!

Hugs ~ Mercy
