...Playing "Catch Up"

It seems as though my whole day was spent trying to catch up on things I missed out on this past week. As a matter of fact, that is exactly what I did. I missed out on spending time with some friends, making some challenge cards, and getting out of the house! I spent the day with my dear friend, Martha Lynn. I never fail to get everything done that I set out to do when I am at her home. We head to the craft room with thinking caps on, and don't come out for air unless we are hungry. And I'm pretty sure we wouldn't come out at all if we felt as though we could get by without eating! The occasional brain fart or moment of missing mojo would stunt us only for a few minutes, then it was back to work. I was actually able to complete all of the missed challenges for this week (this card is for a limited supply challenge)...five of them! I was so proud of myself until Martha Lynn informed me that she had completed twelve scrapbook pages in the same time. Can we just say "bubble busted"! No, not really...we both accomplished what we needed, so it was a wonderful day. Completed tasks, funny conversation, time with a great lady...a day well spent!

I was going to get together with my other friend, Cindy, but by the time I got home I needed to lie down. I had developed a serious headache, and I was afraid it was going to become a migraine...so I took my medicine and headed for bed. I got up just a little while ago to get the blog updated. I tried to call Cindy earlier to let her know what had happened, but only got her voicemail. I'll try again later, though. Anywho, we were going to work on some crafts for an upcoming craft fair in our area. I was going to get some cards, stationery, and other cardstock projects together while she worked on wooden monograms. So much for getting alot of work done...I guess I'll have to catch up on that next week!

Well, now that I am caught up with almost everything I think I need to get back to bed. So I will say "good night" until tomorrow! Hugs ~ Mercy

I know how you feel. I've had chronic migraines since I was 12. The meds help for the most part. Thank goodness for that. Hope you'll be back to normal soon. This is a wonderful card. I love the background print. The crisp black and white is great and then the sudden color of the red bird. Really a terrific card!
