…TSG70: A Farewell to There She Goes

Well I’m back from my little stamping getaway, and I can’t wait for you all to see the cards that I made this weekend!  I made 13 cards along with a cute little project that will be featured on my blog next Wednesday…fun stuff!

As the title suggests this post is about this week’s TSG Challenge, but this will also be my last project as a member of the TSG Design Team.  I’ve had such a wonderful time getting to know and working with the phenomenal Trendsetters and their fearless leader, Jessica Knutsen!  Thank you so much for letting me a part of this ridiculously talented team…I will miss you all!

Now for my sample:

…TSG64: Polka Dots and Chipboard

card_1402

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Lisa! Two of the hottest trends right now are chipboard and polka dots…and Lisa LOVES both! Your chipboard choices are limitless…chipboard images, chipboard letters, chipboard embellishments, etc. You can incorporate polka dots by using dotted papers, ribbons, or creating your own polka dots! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

I decided to use the sets “Let’s Get Together” and “Daily Grind” to create this “coffee day” invitation.  I added my polka dots to the cup in the focal image, then used a chipboard circle as the green mat on the sentiment panel.  I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers, then paired it with some patterned papers from October Afternoon’s Farm Fresh paper pad.  The smaller cups along the bottom of the card were stamped using the Masking Technique.  After a little Piercing, Stitching, Punching, and loads of Dimensionals my card was complete.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates polka dots and chipboards, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (July 26th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Jessica! She is challenging us to create a card using line art as your background. You can see Jessica’s amazing sample HERE.

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our fearless leader, Jessica!  Tags have been (and probably always will be) a big part of cardmaking and crafting.  So this week, Jessica is challenging us to create a tag that incorporates either stitching or paper piercing…you can create a single tag or use your tag on a card.  We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a project that features either a tag or tag element, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (April 26). The winner will receive a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. I will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG51 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Need some inspiration to help you get started? Be sure to check out the TSG Blog for a complete list of the Trendsetters that are joining in the fun!

That's it for me!  Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you back here tomorrow with not only another Tuesday Sketch Challenge, but also a sneak peek at one of the new There She Goes Releases!  Until then...
