...Flutter By Tooth Fairy

Happy Hump Day, everyone! It's been a crazy-busy week here at the Kerin hacienda! I've been trying to get a jump on all of my DT work and some challenges for the rest of the month before we get busy with yet another sport...this time it's track. My oldest tried out for the team on a whim, and wound up making it! Not only did he make it, but they are wanting him to compete in 5+ events...I don't know whether to be proud of him or exhausted for him! LOL! The season kicks up next week, so my evening stamping will be hindered for two or three nights a week now.

In the rush of cardmaking, I went ahead and created this card below...

This is for the 100th challenge at the Flutter By Wednesdays Blog (FBW100). Danni and her design team has done such a wonderful job bringing gorgeous samples and challenges for almost two years...hard to believe! I recently found them through my friend, Pam Varnell, and I have been a faithful participant ever since. This week I used a free digital image that I got quite a while back from Bugaboo Stamps called "Tooth Fairy", along with a sentiment from There She Goes' set "Fairy Good Day". The image was colored with Copic Sketch Markers, then the focal was cut out using a Square Nesties Die and my Big Shot. I paired the colorful image with some patterned papers from SU's Tea Party Designer Series Paper line, then added some piercing and stitching to those panels. Simple accessories like a piece of Gray Grosgrain Ribbon, a Pink Button, and some Linen Thread were added to complete the card.

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I will see you back here tomorrow with a new weekly concept...Verve Day Thursdays! I can't wait to show off some more samples using the March Verve Stamp Release, so until then...
Supplies
Stamps: Tooth Fairy Digital Stamp (Bugaboo Stamps), Fairy Good Day-sentiment (There She Goes)
Papers: Almost Amethyst, Basic Gray, PTI White, Tea Party DSP (SU)
Inks: Black
Accessories: dimensionals, mat pack, paper piercer, sewing machine, ribbon, button, linen thread, nesties, big shot, copics

How sweet! Nice combination of paper and color and that button is a fab accent! :) I've gotta ask - do you stay up and make these cards in the middle of the night? :) I'm amazed and how fast you post to the challenge.

We love seeing your samples each week - thanks so much for playing along!! I especially love this card because last night my daughter lost a tooth! I was sad to see this was a freebie as it means I probably can't find it anymore...off to look though - would look great for the scrapbook page and for a little card for my daughter!
