Lord Have Mercy!: Digital Stamp By Victoria Case

This is my submission for Amy Rysavy's Sketch Challenge #4 from yesterday, and today's Inspiration Challenge #186 at SCS {Sarah Collier, aka the charm school dropout}. She has some phenomenal artwork, but I really like the colors in the one seen above. I started with a Basic Black Cardstock base, then matted the additional layers with it also. The patterned papers were from the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper pack, which happens to be my favorite paper pack! The large Real Red Cardstock background panel was pierced with a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, so was the Whisper White Cardstock focal panel. The image is actually a digital stamp from Victoria Case Stamps called "Willy the Worm". My friend Pam was was sweet enough to print me off a whole page of this image, so that I can use it whenever I feel like it...how precious! Willy was colored with Copic Sketch Markers, then cut out, and attached to the focal panel using Dimensionals. The sentiment was from the Stampin' Up set "Really Retro", and was stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for proper placement. A piece of 5/8" Black Grosgrain Ribbon and three Silver Brads were added to complete the card.
