Ok…I apologize! I didn’t have a card for you as I promised yesterday, but I am back with one today! I was hoping to get a chance to sit down and do some stamping on Saturday, but I pulled a muscle in my stomach which made it hard to sit down or stand up. Needless to say, I spent most of the day on the couch with a heat pad on my stomach and pain meds in my system. I did dream about stamping while I was asleep though…does that count?
As I told you all on Friday, I’m TOTALLY in love with the Whimsie Doodles’ set “Stitch’ems”…check out this sweet little ladybug that’s included in the set:
Can you stand the cuteness??? I stamped the critter in Black Ink and colored it (not sure if it’s a boy or a girl…teeheehee) with Copic Sketch Markers. I cut out the focal panel and scalloped mat using Nesties Dies and the Big Shot. I decided to pair up the finished images from patterned papers from the Be Loved paper pack by My Mind’s Eye, and the solid cardstock colors consist of Galore, Black, and White. I added some Crystal Stickles to the heart accent, and used the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I pierced the edges of the hearts panel, then tied some Saddle-Stitched Ribbon from PTI. There is some Stitching on the polka-dotted panel, and I also stamped the sentiment on that panel also. After adding some Rhinestones and tons of Dimensionals the card was complete. So…what do you think?
That’s it for me today! Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you back here later on. Until then…

Totally adorable, Mercy! Hope your muscle heals up quickly.
Mercy, I absolutely love that set of stamps but was so sad to see that the stamps are sold out at Whimsie Doodles.*insert sad face here *
I did drop them a note to see if they be putting them out in digital or be getting more in stock. I will keep my fingers crossed!
