Happy Friday, everyone! It’s time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm Blog, and this week we have an ENVELOPE CHALLENGE. We were to create a card using some sort of envelope, and this is what I came up with. I used one of the new Miss Anya images from the “Miss Anya Lounge” set to create my card along with a 3-5/8” X 6-1/2” envelope. I stamped Miss Anya in Black Ink, then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. I sealed the envelope, then cut one end off at 1-1/8” to create the new closure. I then ran the larger portion of the envelope through a crimper, then decorated each portion. I paired the image with some patterned papers from BasicGrey’s Lime Rickey paper pack. After adding some Paper Piercing, a Diecut Flower, Silver Pearls, and tons of Dimensionals the card was complete!
Now let's see what the other Farmers and Critter Crew have up their sleeves for today's challenge:
- Jessica Diedrich
- Melyssa Connolly
- Randi Wall
- Kim Nath
- Tammy Maxvill
- Tanya Tahir (October Guest Designer for TGF)
(Critter Crew)
That's it for now! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to head over to the TGF Blog for the official challenge rules and to play along with us! I'll see you back here Sunday with another installment of Mercy’s Magnificent Musings! Until then…
Gorgeous, I love the colours :)
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool Mercy! Love your use of these fun patterns and the fun slip on envelope top!
ReplyDeleteYour colouring is always perfect and you NEVER EVER get the layout wrong - how on Earth do you manage to sustain so much perfection in a single person?? lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously - super adorable and I admire your style of adding few but striking embellies!!
