…Farm Fresh Old School Style

card_1459

Happy Friday, everyone!  This week over at The Greeting Farm Blog we have a new challenge…”Let’s Get Old School” by Jessica and Marie!  We were to create a card using older stamps, but there’s a catch…we were limited to which stamps we could and couldn’t use.  We COULD NOT use:

  • Wild Sprouts
  • Cheeky Cherry collection
  • Oliver/Amelia Stamps
  • Creepers or Creepy Cakes
  • Any Anya AFTER the release of WILD WEST ANYA (Spring/Summer 09)
  • Any Ian AFTER the releases of SKATER IAN (Spring 09)
  • Miss Anyas/My Guy Ians
  • Any Critter Crew images
  • Grandparents/Darling Sisters

I decided to use “Geisha Anya”, so I stamped her in Black Ink and colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.  She was paired with some patterned paper from BasicGrey’s Bittersweet Paper pad.  I also used a border punch to create the Black Cardstock scallop, then stitched it to the patterned paper panels.  After adding some Dry Embossing, Paper Piercing, Ribbon, and lots of Dimensionals the card was complete…whatcha think?!?

Now let's see what the other Farmers and Critter Crew have up their sleeves for today's challenge:

(Critter Crew)

That's it for now! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to head over to the TGF Blog for the official challenge rules and to play along with us!  I'll see you back here in a few with another Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Challenge Card!  Until then...
