Happy Wednesday, everyone! As you all know, Wednesdays are now set aside for the challenges brought to you by All That Scraps’ Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week’s challenge was to use FRUIT on our creations! I chose to use one of the C.C. Designs’ images called “Sugarplums Cherry Emma” along with the little bunny digi from the “Gingersnaps Spring Thing” set. The sentiment was from “AmyR Stamps Spring Sentiments”, and was stamped in Black Ink onto Chartreuse Cardstock. It was punched out with a 3/4” Circle Punch, then attached to a Red Cardstock flower that was punched using the MFT Flower and Leaf Trio Punch. I stamped the “Sugarplums Fence” in Black Ink, then altered it to make the tops of the posts flat instead of pointed. Emma was stamped in Black Ink as well, then cut out and added to the fence in her seated position. The bunny was also cut out and added in front of the fence. I paired the image with some patterned papers from Stampin’ Up’s Raspberry Tart Designer Series Papers, then stitched the edges of the background panel with some white thread. After adding some Rhinestones, Paper Piercing, and tons of Dimensionals the card was complete.
That’s it for me today! Be sure to head over to the ATS Wednesdays Challenge Blog to play along with us! Every week there is a new and exciting prize being offered…but in order to be eligible to win, your card must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps store. Whether it is one of our wonderful in-house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries, the choice is yours. Then be sure to link up your creation with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10pm EST with only one entry per person please!
Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you back here tomorrow with another Verve Release Preview. Until then…
