It's Thursday, and that means it's also "VERVE" Day!!! The new Beach Party Collection has inspired me to become a professional surfer, but seeing as I can't surf to save my life I guess I'll just have to pretend that I'm one instead! LOL! I chose to use my fave set for this card..."Relax". I stamped the sun, the surfboards, and the sentiment in Black Ink onto a piece of PTI White Cardstock, then colored the images with Copic Sketch Markers. The surfboards were cut out, then I added a layer of Crystal Effects on each of them to create some shine. I paired the focal panel colors with some patterned papers from BasicGrey's June Bug collection. The focal panel was cut out using the Spellbinders' Nesties and my Big Shot after I added some torn and sponged Kraft Cardstock to mimic sand. Some Paper Piercing, a piece of Navy Ribbon, some stitching, and a Clear Button complete the card.
