...Wildflower Joy

Happy Sunday, everyone! As you all know, the March Verve release took place Friday night...and I am LOVING these sets! Not a bad stamp in the bunch! I especially love this sentiment from the "Feel The Sun" stamp set...and wanted to showcase it with vivid colors. I chose to use Red Cardstock as a card base, and paired it with some patterned papers from the Report Card and Farm Fresh paper packs by October Afternoon. I stitched the panels together with my Janome Sewing Machine, and attached them to the embossed and distressed Red Cardstock background panel. I pierced the edges of the large red panel, and also sponged them with White Craft Ink and a Sponge Dauber. The sentiment and flower were stamped in Black Ink onto PTI White Cardstock, and cut out with Circle Nesties and a Big Shot. I stamped the flower again on a scrap piece of white cardstock, colored it with Copic Sketch Markers, cut out the blossom and leaves, then attached them the focal panel with Dimensionals.
