...Farm Fresh Alice-Style

It's Farm Fresh Friday time again at The Greeting Farm Blog, and this week our challenge is...Down The Rabbit Hole We Go. We were to create a card inspired by "Alice in Wonderland", so I used the "Maggie Bunny" image to represent The Rabbit. I paired her with some patterned papers from the Earth Love collection by Cosmo Cricket...notice the mushrooms??? I stitched the two pieces of patterned paper with my Janome Sewing Machine, then attached the panel to the Sahara Sand Cardstock base using Dimensionals. The image was stamped in black and embossed onto a piece of PTI White Cardstock, then colored with the Copics seen in the picture above. The sentiment was from the "MN-Outdoorsy" set, and was also stamped in black into a scrap piece of Sage Shadow Cardstock. I created the sentiment panel with Circle Punches, added a Brad to the center of a punched flower, then added some piercing with a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer.

Before we see what the rest of the design team members have up their sleeves for today's challenge, I have some exciting news to share with you! In addition to the regular design team, there are two new ladies joining Sandra, Sparkle, and me on the "Critter Crew" from now until July. Please help us welcome Jami Bova and Heather Schlatter! They will be linked along with other DT members below.

That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by to see me, and I will see you back here at 10:00 p.m. EST for our Verve March Release and Spring Fling Blog Hop! Until then...

Mercy,

So glad to get to be on a Team with your wonderful talent!!! I hear about you all the time from Jess and she just thinks the world of you!!!!

I love this creation but one reason specifically is because just looking at the copics you used shows a great flair for style and time periods because those colors are so perfect for the vintage feel of these images and you did a perfect job incoorporating them!!!

Great job!!
