...Just Playing With My Copics

As you all know, I took the plunge and purchased all of the Copic Sketch Markers not too long ago, and I haven't really had a chance to sit down and play around with them. So I finally decided to sit down the last couple of days to get the feel for them, and practice some blending and combining colors. Here are a couple of cards that I've put together using some of my colored images.I also bought some digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil...which I am in lo-o-o-o-o-ove with! (did you hear my Oprah voice come out? LOL) This first card was made using Mo's "Cody's Balloon" image, and I paired it with patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket's Get Happy paper pad. I love her artwork...these images have the sweetest and most realistic little faces.
This second card uses one of the images from The Greeting Farm's "Rock The Farm" stamp set. I just had to pair her with some of the patterned papers from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh paper pad.
That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by to see me....so what do you think? Am I headed in the right direction with these markers, or do I need to lock myself up in a room for several days and keep practicing {wink, wink}? You KNOW which one I'm leaning towards, right? LOL!

These are gorgeous Mercy!! I had a peek inside Mo's again last night and wanted to buy several....just waiting another week or two atm.

Welcome to the addictive world of the Copic marker!! I know I have an addiction and am not seeking a 12step program for help - just wish I could get them cheaper here in Aust and get a better range. Still I love what I have so far.

looks like you got the hang of those markers but it could be fun to lock yourself in anyway.

I love the first image just because I have a thing for farmer's jeans.
