...Just A Plain Jane, Huh?

As you all know by now, Verve has released their new November line based on thankfulness. What you may not know is that there are two Plain Janes included in the release. I decided to showcase these beautiful and inspirational verses today so you could see them up close.

This first one is a Bible verse taken from I Corinthians 15:57, but the flourish was from the new Celebration of Thanks set. I stamped it with Real Red Craft Ink, then embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I used Labels One and my Big Shot to cut it out, then used patterned papers from the Christmas Cocoa and Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper packs. I am in love with the 1" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon right now, so I used a piece of the red along with some Brads to complete the card.

This card showcases the Grateful Heart Plain Jane, and I used the heart and flourish from the Hearts On Fire set also. I used the patterned papers from the Spring Silhouettes Designer Series Paper pack, and simply embellished with another piece of 1" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon...this time in baja to compliment the sky and wasabi colors in the papers.
That's it for me today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you back here tomorrow with another sneak peek at the new images from The Greeting Farm! Until then...

These cards are lovely. Do you have any trouble with the SU ink on the Verve stamps? I'm looking at branching out a little and I love the Verve stamps, but I've invested so much in the SU ink, I can't invest in another brand too right away.
