...Farm Fresh Friday ~ About A Boy

I want to start off by saying thanks for stopping by for the TGF Blog Hop yesterday...we had a wonderful turnout! Don't you just love the new sets and digi images for this month?!? And how about the gorgeous samples by the design team?!? I am so excited to be designing alongside such amazingly talented women, and working for such a fabulous company and owner! I have the name of the winner of the "Keep Cozy" set to announce also! The lucky winner is...........................................Sharon Swindell! Congrats, Sharon! Please email me with your shipping information, and I will pass it along to Marie so she can get your FREE SET out to you. Thanks again to everyone who participated, and for all of your kind comments...you sure know how to make a newbie feel welcome! :)

Happy Friday, guys! It's Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm Blog, and today's challenge was to create a card or project that was masculine or for a boy. Well this project has my youngest son written all over it! This project includes his favorite candy, his favorite colors, and his favorite stamps from this month's release. Each year we make gift bags for all of his teachers, and this is the one he wants to give his gifted math teacher this year. I was going to fill out the tag to make it look cuter for the pics, but I was quickly scolded for even thinking about it! Gabe said, "Excuse me...it's my gift, so I will write on it". Talk about a DRAMA KING! LOL!

I stamped the tag from "Merry Tags" onto Tangerine Tango Cardstock, and paired it with the patterned paper from the Frosty Day Designer Series Paper pack. The snowman and snowflake were from "Keep Cozy". I stamped the snowflake in Chocolate Chip Classic Ink directly on the bag, then watercolored the snowman with an Aquapainter and Classic Ink Pads. I cut out the the flaky fella, then popped him off of the tag using Dimensionals. I then filled the bag with candy, and sealed it up.

That's it for now! I have some other sketch challenges to share later on today, so I will see you back here then.
