...Mojo Hearts

Today is Monday, so you all know what that means...it's "Mojo Time"! I loved Julee Tilman's sketch on the Mojo Monday Blog, and as soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do! That doesn't happen very often, but when it does it sure makes it easier to get a card cranked out! LOL! I used my favorite color combination to create this mojoliscious sample...Kraft, Black, White, and Red. I think these colors are so stunning and clean together, so I also wanted my card to be the same. I decided to use the two Verve sets "Hearts on Fire" and "Anniversary Birds". All of the images and sentiments were stamped in Basic Black Craft Ink, then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The solid red heart was actually watercolored using an Aquapainter. The patterned papers were from the Jackpot Designer Series Paper pack (the red one), and the To The Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper pack (the kraft/white one). I used a combination of several accessories and embellishments to add more dimension and texture.

That's it for today! I'm off now to cook dinner, then I have a sketch card to get finished...especially since it's for my sketch challenge tomorrow! LOL! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you all again tomorrow. I am so excited to see what The Muses come up with, and I hope you all are just as excited as I am. Come join us! Until then...

This card is so pretty! I love the color combo and it is so perfectly balanced and laid out.

I am SO so happy to see you getting back to your sketch challenges. I just love them and miss them. I keep checking on Tuesdays to see if they will be here. I can't wait! Now if you could make sure the dishwasher repair man doesn't interfer with my stamping time I'd be happy. LOL!
