This was my submissions for
Jen del Muro's Sketch For You To Try from Saturday. I started with a
Basic Black Cardstock base, then matted the additional layers with either
Basic Black Cardstock or
Whisper White Cardstock. The patterned papers were from the
Washington Apple Designer Series Paper pack, and the striped panel was pierced using a
Mat Pack and
Paper Piercer. The focal panel is a piece of
Bashful Blue Cardstock for the sky, and used my
CutterBee Scissors to create the individual blades of grass on the
Kiwi Kiss Cardstock. The image and sentiment were both from The Greeting Farm's set called "
Wild Things", and were stamped in
Basic Black Craft Ink. They were embossed with
Clear Embossing Powder, then the image was colored using
Copic Sketch Markers. The sentiment panel was punched out using the
Large Oval Punch and the
Scallop Oval Punch.
Silver Brads were the only embellishments added to complete the card.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you back here tomorrow! Until then...

WOW, I didn't get to see this one completely finished the other day when we stamped together. It's beautiful. Love that cutie bird and the colors on the card are awesome. Great job with the sketch.
