...Clean and Simple Superstar

This is my submission for Monday's Clean and Simple Challenge #19 at SCS. I must say that the idea of making simple cards makes me a little nervous, but the more I make them the more I really like them! I really enjoy having a starting point like a challenge, though...I don't think that I could just sit down and make a clean and simple card on my own. Thank heavens for the CAS challenge thread at SCS! LOL! I started with a Kraft Cardstock base, then matted the additional layer with Basic Black Cardstock. The focal panel is also Kraft Cardstock, and it was stamped with the stars from Verve Visual's set "Seeing Stars" in Basic Black Craft Ink. They were then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. The sentiment was from Verve's sentiment set "Great Expectations", and was stamped in the same manner as the stars. I colored the stripes in the stars with my White Signo Gel Pen to add a little dimension to them...pretty good effect, huh? I attached the focal panel to the card base with Dimensionals.
That's it for today! I have a couple of sketch cards that I want to finish up this weekend, so I may have more cards to share over the next few days. Thanks for stopping by, and until later...

Gorgeous Mercy! I'm daft enough to have stamped the stars seperately, cut them out and stuck them on!
Talk about making hard work for myself! LOL
