This was my submission for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #50 that she posted on this past Saturday. I started with a Summer Sun Cardstock base, then matted the patterned paper panel with Real Red Cardstock. The focal panel was matted with a combination of Real Red Cardstock AND Summer Sun Cardstock. All of the patterned papers were from the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper pack. The edges of the large red panel were pierced using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, while the center panel was cut out using the Top Note Die from Stampin' Up! The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock, but was colored with the following Stampin' Write Markers first: Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Tempting Turquoise. The only embellishment used was a piece of 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.
That's it for today! I have had the stamping *blahs* lately, but I have been cleaning everything I can get my hands on at the house...what is wrong with me? LOL! I have a bit of shopping to do today, and I will be spending the day stamping with Pam Varnell tomorrow. I hope to have something posted for you some time later on in the day tomorrow though. Thanks for stopping by on this hot-and-humid Georgia Friday, and I will see you all later! Until then...
