...Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch #31

This was my submission for Lauren Meader's Saturday Sketch: mytimess31. I started with a Pumpkin Pie Cardstock base, then matted each additional layer with Basic Black Cardstock. The patterned papers were from the Washington Apple Designer Series Paper pack, and the striped panel was pierced with a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. The Whisper White Cardstock focal panel was also pierced in the same manner. The image and sentiment are from the set "Down By The Pond" by The Greeting Farm. The little fishy was stamped in Basic Black Craft Ink onto Watercolor Paper, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, then colored with Aquapainters and Classic Ink Pads. I cut out the image, attached it to the focal panel using Dimensionals, then added Orange Peel Stickles and Yellow Stickles to add some sparkle. The sentiment was stamped in Riding Hood Red Classic Ink onto a scrap piece of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, then punched out with the Word Window Punch. The only embellishments used to complete the card include some 5/8" Black Grosgrain Ribbon and a couple of Red Rhinestone Stickers.

That's it for today! I will be spending this lovely Monday morning and afternoon shampooing carpets...don't you wish that you could be here with me? LOL! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I will see you all back here tomorrow. Until then...
