...Sketch Challenge #215

  • This is my submission for today's Sketch Challenge #215 at SCS. I completed this card at 9:03 am, then had to spend the next five hours running all over the place! So I am just now getting the chance to upload it. I started with a Regal Rose Cardstock base, then matted each additional layer with Chocolate Chip Cardstock and/or Regal Rose Cardstock. The patterned papers were from the Sweet Always Designer Series Paper pack, and the striped panel and focal were pierced using the Mat Pack and a Paper Piercer. The hearts were from the stamp set "Just Celebrate", while the sentiment was from "Holidays & Wishes".
  • The hearts were stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink onto Watercolor Paper, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun, then colored with the following: an Aquapainter, Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, Pink Pirouette Classic Ink, Regal Rose Classic Ink, and Blush Blossom Classic Ink. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in the same manner, and I also used a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for proper placement. The hearts were then cut out and popped off of the focal panel using Dimensionals. Three Silver Brads, 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, and Silver Cording were added to the card to complete it.
  • I wanted you all to see just how thick my cards actually are, so I took this side-view picture to make it more clear. I am a sucker for Dimensionals...so much so that my close friends call me the "Dimensional Ho". :) I will work for Food and Dimensionals! LOL!

  • Well that is it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you all tomorrow with a card for this week's Mojo Sketch, and maybe a Color Challenge card. Until then...
