...Sketch Challenge #210

This was my submission for the Sketch Challenge posted yesterday at SCS. The color combination I chose was Kraft, Basic Gray, and Whisper White. I stamped the flourish from "Baroque Motifs" in Sahara Sand Classic Ink in the upper right and lower left corners of the base. I used the same stamp to create the two focal panels; I stamped them in Whisper White Craft Ink, then embossed them with White Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun. The sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray Classic Ink using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for proper placement. The butterflies were from the set "Dreams du Jour". They were stamped and embossed in white on Vellum, then cut out. The center panel was stamped with the "Canvas" background stamp in Sahara Sand Classic Ink. Two pieces of Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon were tied around the center panel, then a piece of vellum was punched with the Scallop Edge Punch and added to the right side of the panel. The 1/4" Circle Punch was used to punch out three Basic Gray Cardstock circles, then a Silver Brad was placed in the center of each. The completed brads were added to the card base to finish it off.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you all again tomorrow. I am feeling kind of under the weather, so the remainder of the day will be spent doing absolutely nothing! Until later...
