Are these not the most precious bubble bees you've ever seen?!? This is a new set that will be available in the new Stampin' Up Spring-Summer 2009 Catalog & Idea Book, and it is called "Just Buzzin' By". I used the Sketch Challenge #206 from SCS as a starting point, then used an Old Olive Cardstock base. All of the layers were matted with Basic Black Cardstock. The next layer up was Certainly Celery Cardstock that had been run through the Sizzix Big Shot inside of the Tiny Mosaic Texture Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. Three Black Brads were added to the right-hand side of the panel using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. The yellow patterned paper was from the Jackpot Designer Series Paper pack...a pack that will be in the new catalog. The adorable bees were stamped in VersaMark Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, then embossed with Black Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun (as was the sentiment). They were then watercolored with an Aquapainter and So Saffron Classic Ink, then I added Yellow Stickles to each of their wings for some *sparkle*. The green patterned paper was from the Haiku Designer Series Paper pack, and windows were punched into it using the 1" Circle Punch. All of the layers were attached to the card base using Dimensionals. A piece of 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon was added around the panels to finish it off.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope to see you again tomorrow with some more sneak peeks of the items that are appearing in the new catalog. Until then....
