"Vintage Simply Said" (~2003)
"New & Improved Simply Said" (2008)
- Used the hearts in "Simply Said" instead of the flowers
- Matted the green panel with Basic Black Cardstock
- Used Kiwi Kiss Cardstock instead of Certainly Celery
- Added the small heart from "Short & Sweet" in place of the white flowers (I colored both of these with the White Signo Gel Pen)
- Added a band of Basic Black Cardstock behind the focal image
- Added paper piercing around both panels
- Used wider, striped ribbon instead of thin gingham ribbon (Love the new ribbon widths! What was I thinking with that tiny ribbon?!?)
- I opted out of sponging or distressing the edges of the focal panel...I like the clean edges
- Used three Silver Brads instead of two black brads (I also added black cardstock circles behind the silver brads)
- Used Dimensionals (They really made a difference)
That is it for today! Thanks for coming by today! There are alot of wonderful changes to my blog for the next year. I am on an unusual organizing spree (if you know anything about me you know that this is a HUGE lie...I am always organizing something!) I can't wait to share all of my new ideas with you...but one thing at a time! ;) Until tomorrow...
