...Dream A Little Sketch

This is my submission for today's Sketch Challenge #207 at SCS. I started with an Orchid Opulence Cardstock base, and also matted the focal panel and side strips with it. I also used Chocolate Chip Cardstock as an accent to the orchid. The Whisper White Cardstock on the base was pierced around the edges using a Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, and a Silver Brad was attached to each of the side panels. The images were from an upcoming stamp set called "Dream A Little". The flower was stamped twice in Jet Black Staz-On Ink; once onto the Whisper White Cardstock focal panel, then again on a piece of Watercolor Paper. The flower on the watercolor paper was colored using an Aquapainter and the Orchid Opulence Classic Ink Pad. I added some sparkle with a little Stardust Stickles, and one it was dry the bloom was cut out using CutterBee Scissors. The colored flower was attached to the focal panel using Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Staz-On Ink in the lower left corner using a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet for proper placement, then the edges of the panel were pierced to mimic the base. The hummingbird was stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and a Heat Gun, cut out, then attached to the focal panel using Dimensionals.

That's it for today! I have several RAKs to share with you tomorrow, and I will also be working on some other blog challenges! Thanks for stopping by again today, and until later...
