...Kristina's Color Inspiration #29

Here it is....my submission for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #29. I have never really been into making Christmas cards this early, but I can't seem to stay away from them lately! It must be a sickness...too bad there isn't a pill I can take for it! LOL! I used the Stampin' Up! set "Baby Jesus Is Born" this time. I watercolored the image using an Aquapainter and several Stampin' Write Markers (Taken With Teal, Bordering Blue, Going Gray, Elegant Eggplant, Close To Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, and Blush Blossom). The orange patterned paper is from the Ghostly Greetings Designer Series Paper pack, but I designed my own blue designer paper. I used the word block from the set "Season of Joy" (the same one that I used on the card this morning), and stamped the Pacific Point Cardstock in Pacific Point Classic Ink. I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig and Image Sheet to keep everything lined up. Each panel was matted with Basic Black Cardstock, and popped up off of the Kraft Cardstock base using Dimensionals. Then a piece of 5/8" Pumpkin Pie Striped Ribbon and three Pumpkin Pie Buttons were added to complete the card.

That's it for today...promise! I have a club tonight, so I had to get this posted in order to qualify for Kristina's challenge. I will be back tomorrow, though...so come back by to see what I have going on! Until then...

I've really been impressed by how many people have used the colours in this challenge to make a Christmas card. I never would have thought of that! Your card is totally successful and very lovely!
