I have sent the day cutting out supplies for more upcoming clubs, and I just had to take a break! So I decided to play with the set "Crazy For Cupcakes" that I purchased when it was on sale last month. I was inspired by my good friend, Pam Varnell. She always has a way of using a set that I don't really care for, and she makes it look so fun and pretty. The same was true in this case! I thought the cupcakes were kind of cute, but I wasn't sure that I would ever really use it. It has sat on the self since the day I bought it until today...and now I love this stinkin' set! I hate it when that happens, don't you?
I used some of the Frosty Day Designer Series Papers to coordinate with my watercolored cupcakes. The only embellishments used were some 5/8" Brocade Blue Grosgrain Ribbon and three Dark Brown Brads. I had to add some *sparkle* to the cupcakes, so I added some Icicle Stickles to the tops of them.
That's it for today! I will be spending the day tomorrow with my friends Lakesha and Robin, but I am going to restart my weekly sketch challenges! I will post a layout tomorrow morning with a sample, and you can make a card or scrapbook layout that follows the template. You can post a link to your creation, and I will come to check it out. Until later...
